Hello, I'm serving as crew on an OA 68. Down in the crew compartment closet, I've found these pieces. The owners have no idea what they're for. I contacted OA and they're mystified as well. Does ANYBODY know what these are for? The nearest thing I can come up with are swim ladder handrails.

Maybe for the staple holes if you have them. Installed pointing downwards from the swim platform, they would prevent the dinghy (tied sideways to the swim platform) from going underneath. Or acting as a bumper if stern tied to a log boom.
