Windlass advice

My windlass is gone. It is an old Powerwinch. The new Powerwinch windlasses don’t have good reviews. I have a 1987 42’ Jefferson Sundeck. I don’t want to start one of those anchor arguments, but here goes. Any recommendations for a a new windlass. I anchor out as much as possible. With this new windlass I will get new 100’ chain and 100 or so foot line. So…what is your recommendations for a new windlass?

My boat also had an old rope only porch Powerwinch. It worked, but it was loud, slow, and underpowered.

I replaced it with a Maxwell HRC10-8 and have been very happy. Much faster, plenty of power, and handles a rope/chain combo nicely.

Lofrans TIgres has been a good windlass for me. It replaced another but lighter duty Lofrans about 2016.

The only catch is silly Lofrans does NOT, to my knowledge yet , offer a combination chain rope Wildcat. In my case I have never needed the rope with 275' chain.

Lofrans now offers a rope kit that can be retofitted to the Tigres.....
