I have a repowered Manatee. Unless one intends to change prop shaft, prop and a plethora of other things, finding an engine with a similar torque, HP & RPM curve with a deck height that will fit under the hatches can be challenging. Est to check around to see what swaps are working well right now.

For me, learning that boat might be more intimidating than paying for it. It’s a dream boat beyond the boat I dream of, but the Gardner….yeah, that’s in the boat I dream of.

I should add, some might say that the merger of widely contrasting marks of the past sometimes resulted in the loss of identity for both. I think that KK & AT are well respected brands of their own where neither mark will have to sell its soul to the other. Dan,… I wouldn’t worry about...

When I built the swim platform, I couldn’t find another Manatee with a setup I liked, so I bologna cut the door in half and hinged it with auto-lifting commercial refrigerator hinges. Like you, I didn’t want the trip hazards. That project is still on the Krogen section of TF, I don’t know...
