    I’m considering the purchase of a 1987 36 Classic. It has twin Lehmans with 2500 hours and appears to be in above average condition. The asking is $145K. Of course if I get serious I’ll have surveys. Meanwhile, what should I look out for? The teak decks are rough and have bad caulking but...

    1985 Ocean Alexander

    I’m looking at a 43’ Ocean Alexander built in 1985. It has twin Lehmans with about 1000 hours. The asking is 80k. Am I crazy to consider a boat this old? Even assuming a decent survey, am I in for tremendous annual yard expenses? Thanks in advance for your input.
