I’m looking at a Tollycraft pilot house. The interior is not the traditional teak. It is a light colored material. Does anyone know what it is?

After many years of ownership of my '96 57'er, I have come to the conclusion that the interior wood is American Oak with a light, almost whitewashed finish applied which was in "vogue" in the day. Most of the large panels are oak veneer face plywood with the trims of solid oak. That being said, the woodwork is generally well done. The only teak on board was the cockpit to flybridge's ladder treads. PM me if you want to discuss further.
