Hi there! I've been boating since the early 90's but was always crew, never captain. I've finally found a deal on a seaworthy fiberglass stern drive trawler, and gone in half ownership with a partner, whom is good with me buying out his half in a few years. I look forward to taking small excursions around Humboldt Bay. Once I am confident in my vessel's capabilities, I plan to stretch my bounds up and down the coast, a few more nautical miles at a time.

Welcome to the forum! Wife grew up in Arcata, I've spent some time around the area, beautiful place. You have some serious seas outside the harbor, that's for sure!
