We're going to stay a night or two in Oriental around the first of November before heading on south. Which marina do you recommend?

Not many transient docks to choose from. I recommend Oriental Inn & Marina in the main harbor of the town of Oriental. Not many slips, so reservations recommended (252) 249-1818. Located in the center of Oriental with fuel, restuarant (Toucan Grill) and Tiki Bar. Also in close proximity to other restuarants, marine provisions and shopping.
We should be there the first weekend of November, as we are scheduled for a haul-out, paint, ect. We will look out for you.

Vinny,
We are in Manteo until the first. Then Ocracoke for a night. Now it looks like we may skip Oriental and go to Morehead City on the 2nd or 3rd depending on weather. We are trying to get as far south as possible before leaving the boat for a couple of weeks around Thanksgiving. I'm hoping to be in Brunswick or Jacksonville by the 20th.
Where are you coming from? Maybe we could meet earlier?
