I understand there is a strong Gulfstar owner presence on Facebook.

My kids are grown so...

I. Will. Not. Go. On. Facebook.

Perhaps a member here could be a conduit to get info available.

I will pay.

Seriously.

Amen my man, don't give in to the Zuck data farm.

Not sure why the strong stand against Facebook but I know many here have the same aversion. You, by being a member here, are already a member of social media.

I am the reverse, I strongly like Facebook, and the older you are the more I think it is a good thing. The problem as we get into older age, possibly frail age is social isolation. Just as here you can make friends, renew old acquittances, and create a social platform that doesn't require visitors, a car or other forms of transportation.

I worked as an orderly at a Vancouver BC Vet hospital when in university and I saw the results of guys semi and permanently bed ridden in social isolation, no visitors. I worked as a social worker in Vancouver General's emergency department decades ago and I dealt with the seniors coming into the department caught in a life of no friends and no reliable transportation. Facebook is a life line to friends and acquittances.
