Waking them probably is no worse than open ocean crossing weather at some point....should be hardly a threat to the escape hatch...

A common thought here on TF seems that a problem with even a one in a bazillion chance of happening needs to be addressed for your boat...

A leak around a port/escape hatch caused a boat to be abandoned/sink? Must have been a total failure...not "just a leak".....

Progressive dropped on my 19 Ft skiff too this year. At least that's what the renewal letter said...but some other (new) fees did bring...

Most are just grateful and relieved for being hoisted but only once in the helo....but not all are grateful....☠️☠️☠️
