Pic shows main Bruce type anchor and a Danforth secondary. I purchased a used Delta as a third anchor.
Does anyone have experience with this one? I used it from Marathon to Crisfield with great results. 20' of 3/8" chain and 85' of 1" braid. Recently purchased 64' of 3/8" chain and 100' of 1" braid. 20230616_144206.jpg20230616_144054.jpg20230616_144145.jpg20230616_144200.jpg

Not a Bruce. It's a pivoting SuperMAX.

Instructions on the website. Great anchor. Have had two, progressively larger on previous boats, and I'd have another now if the shank length would fit between our davit rollers and the chain stopper.

I have the 35-pound version of this SuperMax. Great anchor for a 12,000-pound boat. That one in the OP's photo is a big 'un.

Thanks Chris and rgano "Knock on wood" never drug once on my trip up. Anchored in some pretty sketchy places with change of tides and current. Going to learn about this anchor.
