Anybody have experience with Decca straight line wipers? Saw them on a salty looking steel trawler the other day and they looked pretty cool.

 
I’ve seen them, they look cool. I suspect that they are either very expensive or they don’t work well.

Installation looks complex, multiple moving parts, I’m going to wait for it to be a proven technology.
 
From what I can find, the biggest issue is price. Looks like it's $3k or more per window.
 
I think I can deal with an arc for 3k. I’m happy to have a wiper in the first place, let alone a fancy one.
 
I’m curious despite the cost because my wipers on long pantographs just don’t work very well, and according to the maintenance log I inherited from my PO, have never worked very well, smearing, skipping, and falling out of alignment despite many efforts to correct. I’m about to sink more money into new blades and pantographs again but I’m not optimistic.
