I need " Reverse Image " bullet camera.
Raymarine camera is ridiculously expensive.
Does anyone have any suggestions for less expensive one.
It has to be Reverse Image

Understand frustration with $ amount. You can get the Sony CMOS 2.0 that the RM 210 is based on in any $50 outdoor camera.
AFAIK the reversing is a software function of a display unit, don't believe a camera does that. Am I wrong?

When I got the axiom chart plotter I saw it could accept a camera. Great, until I tried to find one that would work and not be hundreds of $.
I have two cheap wifi camera and neither is seen by axiom.

How about a standalone security type system?

All the wiring is in place from the bad camera to my chartplotter so I want to keep it as clean installation as possible.
If I can find n inexpensive Image Reverse bullet camera, I'm good to go but finding it is an issue.

What brand /model camera is in place now?
Furunos I'm familiar with (TZ or Navnet) have standard analog rca video input. Nothing special there.
Is your existing camera is a higher end unit?
See one internet supplier that links a Sionyx as an accessory.
This is a completely different level of quality and exponentially more expensive, proprietary CMOS and it's own installation / application software.
That may be where the image reversing capability you are seeking resides.

I was a raymarine
There has to be inexpensive reverse image bullet cameras somewhere that will be compatible with Furuno chart plotters.
I use it to watch the dinghy being towed

Next suggestion is post to the furunousaforum. It is pretty good, see what Johnny Electron has to say.
Good Luck

Some cameras will do it. Some will not reverse.

Simrad, will take the old analog and IP camers if this helps.

Personal, I would but off Amazon a camera you think would work. If it doesn't, it's an easy return.

I paid 25.00
On Amazon and it interfaces perfectly to my garmin mfd…reverses also…

The cameras linked below work great. They have an internal web server you access to reverse the image. Power can be run separately or via a POE switch or injector.

Raymarine allows 3rd party cameras to function with the Axiom product line. The bonus on this one is night color mode.

Post with a ton of info on the subject and includes Raymarine specs for 3rd party cameras (wired only no wireless support). When I originally contributed to the post I used Hosafe cameras (no longer available). I use Amcrest now. In 4 years have not had a camera failure yet.

Just as an expansion on my post I have 5 cameras …one garmin st 350.00 the remainder from Amazon. The video inputs for all cameras all connect to one splitter that has multiple inputs and one output which goes to the. One input port on the garmin mfd… which camera is running is controlled by a 12 volt rotary switch..only one possible at a time..works gredd …btw the picture quality is the same between garmin 360 and Amazon 25.00

Cbouch,
Which camera did you buy?
Rob

I am not exactly sure as to how to copy the link over from Amazon…also it looks like it cost about 39.00 now but sure does look like the same camera and specs…maybe this link will work…https://a.co/d/gIiSaMC

any $50.00 backup camera will work and if you have a fairly modern MFD it will show on the screen.

I bought an any backup camera and it is not seen by axiom chart plotter
That's strange as we had an axiom at the lower helm and a Garmin up top and the camera's connected to both, I had to adapt from RCA to BNC, but once powered they were great
