Andrea and little Mike travelled from New Brunswick Canada to Montreal, Québec, Canada in late September and purchased a 1979 Mainship. We believe we have found the boat of our dreams. Andrea is a retired schoolteacher and little Mike will be retiring in two years from construction. We plan on sailing the Mainship down the St. Lawrence River, around the Gaspé, through the Honguedo Strait, through the Gulf of St. Lawrence, then between cape Breton Island and mainland Nova Scotia to the north Atlantic, down around Sable Island to the Bay of Fundy to finally get into the Saint John River through the reversing Falls and arriving at our home moring in Evandale, New Brunswick.
The only thing missing on the MK1 is autopilot but we were given an autonav autopilot with all the parts except the pump we think. Here is a picture of what we have. Can anybody tell us what is missing besides the pump and should we go with autonav pump as we are seeing the autonav pump is only a few hundred dollars than other pumps.

Welcome aboard. I always liked the 34, nice boat congrats.

Congratulations. You'll find lots of support here for that boat. I had a sister ship that I put a lot of miles on. Great boat.

It looks like you've got all the bits for the AP. Pump brand isn't important but sizing is. Make sure the pump you select has a current draw that is well under the AP max.
