    Lehman 135 Heat Exchanger Question

At the suggestion of a more experienced mariner, I marked the end caps to align with the body of the exchanger (magic marker). Also allowed different markings to be sure to but them back in the same orientation (fore and aft). I don't know if this is truly needed, but is not difficult to do...

    Yanmar genny engine

I had Depco rebuild my seawater pump for my Northern Lights genny last year. I also had excellent, quick service with a good turn around time. Good luck.

    Composite Dinghy

I've been considering an aluminum Duroboat. Duroboat - The World's Finest Aluminum Fishing Boats I haven't seen one in person, but have read of others having these and they seem to like them. They moved the factory from Seattle area to Tennessee. I hope they come to some of the East Coast...

    Krogen Cruisers

I agree with Marty. I enjoy both Krogen Cruisers and TF. I have had some very good help from both sources. Sometimes, information on the exact make and model from other owners is extremely helpful. The Rendezvous in Solomons is excellent. I understand that there is one in the PNW as well...

    Cruising the San Juans

It's hard to make a poor decision for places to explore in the San Juans. Good suggestions have been made. I have always liked Stuart Island--either Prevost or Reid Harbor. Both State parks, moorings and limited dockage. The island is wonderful for hiking--very little for shopping if that...

    When is your flybridge unsafe?

I love the pilot house. That being said, the flybridge can't be beat for maneuvering in/out of the slip or fuel dock. It's also an excellent place for gatherings at anchor or even at the dock. Chris

    Cold Plate Refrigerator/Freezer

I have an older holding plate refrigerator freezer by Glacier Bay (now out of business). Worked great until the compressor went out. It is powered by a 24 VDC motor, belt driven. My refrigeration guy says that no one is making the compressor. A firm in Ft Lauderdale may be able to rebuild. Any...

    Not the Second Happiest Day

I totally understand your feeling. We sent our Parker to Alabama recently. She was a great boat and did the job we needed for eight years. Lots of good memories were loaded on a trailer and taken down the road by her excited, new owners. In our case, we had already purchased the replacement...
