Can the greasing be done through the zerk fitting on the hand wheel? Or do I have to yank it off the deck?

When I downloaded it I fell into a black hole of endless folders, subfolders and drop downs. Next mistake was the tutorials. 4 minutes worth of info in a 28 minute video.

Okay but when I downloaded OpenCPN in my pilothouse my boat took on a 20 degree list. Just sayin'.

I'd say OpenCPN is amazing and powerful but not "Light". It doesn't have training wheels.

I have blue tooth speakes so just need an fm tuner with aux that can play music. no amp needed since speaker has the amp. Doesn't seem to be any choices other than cell phones. suggestions?

I think the only way is download a few in your price range and see which one is most intuitive for you. That's true for any software actually. It's a subjective thing.

I've been driving myself insane downloading all these endless apps with their endless reviews. There does seem to be Navionics Gravity in the Boatverse that relentlessly draws you toward it.

I plan to do that. They're super useful for us 12v tinkerers. Btw I have solar to keep the batteries interested at anchor.

I've never installed an inverter. Got a 1100 watt modified sine wave. Two batteries with a switch. I keep the switch on "Both" for starting and running. Then knock it down to #2 at anchor when shut down to keep one batt fresh. Should I hook the inverter direct to the #2 battery for the same reasons?

Do you have to pay extra to install it on a second device? I like the looks of it so far.

It's not me, I haven't taken her out yet. I've been out of boats for a long time and need to get a good boater to get me up to speed on handling/docking etc. The slip luckily pretty have training wheels on it. Steel need some tutoring though.
