    Thanks. That is my general understanding and that it is common with a Lehman 120. As previously stated the engine starts easily from a cold start, runs well, good rpm/power and oil looks fine.

    I have a Lehman 120 with about 3500 hours on it. Starts fine, runs fine. Also burns little to no oil and oil always looks good. but I notice that there appears to be a small sheen of diesel from the exhaust discharge. Hopefully nothing major. Any thoughts?

    The exterior dimensions are 22 3/4 inches wide, 28 3/4 inches tall with an approximate 4 inch tall ventilation "grate" on the bottom and 18 inches deep.

    Thanks all for your replies. I can't locate the model number for my existing Norcold. I am confident that the new brands should all be much more efficient than my old refer. Seems to draw a lot of DC battery juice. Heading to the Seattle boat show to see what will work best.

    I am in need of replacing my old '81 AC/DC Norcold refrigerator on my Tung Hwa Trawler. Obviously my main goal is efficiency followed by price. Any thoughts on brands especially considering DC battery consumption?

    Tung hwa clipper v-berth

    Ebberdene I am new to the forum but have had our clipper 31 for about 3 years. The v-berth has been modified to a double (cozy but nice). There is access below but to date I have not used it much as there seems to be ample storage through out the whole vessel.
