With the cockpit all models sat with a low bow. Cockpit provides a lot of aft buoyancy. I cannot help you on size of original tank. I would figure out largest size tank you can get in there and do that. You can adjust for/aft trim by how full you keep the tank. I don't believe if you kept it...
