My title says " Presidential Yachts" On the boat it says Presdent and another place says President I may have a hodgepodge boat.

Present Yachts President Yachts Presidential Yachts I see the same boats using all 3 names but can't find anything about them being the same.

It came in when the engine was running wot. It's been a year since the boat was ran for more than 15 min. I think it needing running to clean it out

The temp did come down right away after pulling back power. Also both engines did go up and make 2800 rpm as the book says it should. Other than the smoke at the elbow it did pretty good.

The boat has not been run much in the last year. Basically just started ever couple of months and idle at the dock. I think this is the first time it's been out and ran over 30 minutes.

We went out yesterday on a 37' President with twin Cummins 300hp. The starboard engine starting smoking all around the elbo coming out of turbo going into exhaust. This happened when it was ran up to WOT. Temp hit 205 then come down as power was reduced. The elbo smoked like it had oil inside...

We are in no hurry to get anywhere. We plan to cruise around Florida and the islands.

I'm looking at more staying on the boat a few weeks at the time over the next year or so and then spending a few months on the boat. Then we plan on living on the 6 months out of the year. We are fishing less and just enjoy being on the boat. I did spend a lot of time on a 70' Convertible back...

1987 Present 38' I'm looking at a 1987 Present 38'. It has a pair of 300hp Cummins. The owner thought they came with the Cummins but not sure. Most I've seen have the Volvo or Lehman and a few with Perkins. Anyone else have the Cummins?
