Finding year of engine

I'm trying to find the year of a engine online. Anyone know how to look it up by serial #?
It's a 6bta 5.9 m2

There is an article in boatdiesel about how to use QuickServe, Cummins on line system that should tell you everything you need to know. You will need your engine's serial number.

Looks like they are 1993 models with later year updates.
