120vac and 240 vac splicing/junction

I was wondering if I am able to pull 120vac and 240vac wires into a junction box and then use a terminal strip to the final destination.

I am thinking of running all the AC wires for each area/room into a single conduit, then into a junction box, then branch out of there off a terminal strip.

Any pros/cons?

I just have an enormous amount of wire to pull and thought this makes it a bit easier to manage the pulls and runs of everything.

Not sure but I bet NEC requires different terminal strips for L1, L2, N and G. Every boat I have seen had separate strips.

I do not have a problem with it at all as long as it's in a inaccessible location, to avoid inadvertent person contact.

All wire will need to meet the spec with the circuit breaker. What you are proposing is common On larger boats. It’s not unusual to find this kind of terminal strip for outlets and lights in the forward and aft staterooms.

When doing this it is common practice to cover the terminal strip with acrylic. This prevents some from accidentally touching live wires.

Yes, was looking at plexi covered ones, in junction type box, behind doors, etc, so not easily accessible, but still accessible if need be.

Unless I am mistaken, your picture is not a grounding strip. You could mix 120 and 240 neutrals but not the positive side.

It’s very common to use those. You seem to have a good plan to enclose them so no worries, just label the wires or color code for easy identification.
Those strips are typically rated at 300 volts, so all good there too.

I assume you are daisy chaining outlets where practical? That will reduce the number of home run wires back to the junction box.

Yes sir. Runs into the junction box will be primarily for what will run back into the breaker system.
