I intend to move to Florida in the end of the year and to cruise more with more time.

So you plan on keeping your boat in the islands? Is mooring expensive? Maybe i should do something like that before i get too old

Sure you can, just won't be winning any races. You would be surprised at how little it takes to move a heavy boat if you just apply a little gentle presure.

Off topic: There have been five deaths at Charleston harbour entrane at the mouth of Coos bay this year already. The last one, Capt. Barkley, crossed the bar and was idleing in the bay in flat still conditions when his 65ft crab boat just turned over and sank in 35ft of water. He was trapped inside crew survived. They tried to re float the vessel and thats when they found his body. The ballons they were using to refloat wouldn't hold so the boat was never recovered and by now is likely buried in the sand so we will never learned why the vessel sank. Happened two weeks ago.
