Installed the ProFish, quite similar 2018 in my Cape Cod 30 sailboat.
Do not use it much as at 83 use marinas more than anchoring but appreciate having the choice.
They are nice units,I am sure you match the gypsy with the chain size you have.
Installing was quite straight, make sure you use a bedding material of your choice, NO 5200!!!!!!
was away from the boat for 30 minutes and the idiot installing it applied the 5200 proudly, wanted to push the bast.... overboard!!!
not sure you have a choice,if the chain port is in place or no, in my boat have to use the hole already available, do not like it because the chain tends to pile up and have to push it when finishing the haul.
This year have trouble lifting the anchor, the gypsy will free wheel, found I neglected maintenance, need to take apart the wheel and clean up/lubricate all moving parts, replaced the tension controlling kit, all is well.
Do not use a wireless, looks like a nice option if you're single or shorthand.
I installed the two-foot control on the bow and a remote wired inside the cockpit so have control both stations.
The power is drawn from a dedicated battery housed in the vberth with its own fuses etc.
is part of a two batteries bank, the other battery is dedicated to start the engine, isolated from house battery.
When starting the engine or running the windlass, both batteries are switched on while the engine is running.
Have 4 solar panels, installed in 3 controllers.
One single panel and its controller is dedicated to the engine/windlass bank, the thinking is starting the engine and anchoring are vital.
I use all chain.
If doing it again, more likely will use a combination nylon/chain.
good luck
