AutoPilot Pump Replacement

I have to change out the pump on my Simrad 3000x autopilot. Is this a straightforward swap out should I be concerned with anything? Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated.

no big deal at replacing the pump. you will need help bleeding the system with someone cracking the cylinder connections while the pump is being powered side to side using the autopilot dodge function.

I agree an easy swap out. This would be a good time to add ball valves near the pump for the three hydraulic lines if they aren’t there now.

I want to caution people. There are reversing pumps and there are pumps with solenoids for reversing. Replace like with like.
