Yeah, I searched the threads. All pretty much were 2nd hand knowledge.
Has anyone on here actually USED it ? I'm considering TotalBoat (not a real bedliner) because of color avail on my FB deck. Id prefer a 2 part, but sure not doing black. Any help here ?

There was an indepth article in PMM a long time ago about using bedliner on teak decks. Charles Coulatta (SP) was a member here and he wrote the article. Generally he was quite happy with the results but he had a bedliner company do the work. Also LineX has a dealer in Florida that does boat decks using a special blend to protect against UV.

Well this will be DIY on fiberglass. That article was mentioned in the searched threads. Herculiner got good scores in tests, but black.

TuffCoat, a very similar product works out very well. We tested it with the Flybridge deck 2 years ago, I did the main decks this winter. Many colors to choose from... even white. We went with Sand.

I replaced the deck in my charter boat and put down 1/4" aluminum plate with 2" stiffeners every 16". The deck was awesome, like walking on concrete, but needed to coat it with something that would give a non skid surface. Ended up getting it sprayed with LineX. They used a zinc chromate primer and shot the LineX over it. Basically LineX is a resin and catalyst that mixes in the air and dries almost instantly. Shooting it within a foot produces a smooth finish. At three feet, it's nonskid bed liner.

It was getting worn down after 15 years of charter service, which says alot.

If I were doing it over fiberglass, Kiwigrip would be my choice. Did that on Slow Hand's decks. After 8 years of cruising, there wasn't any signs of wear.

I used raptor bed liner. Tiltable with a shots gun to get the nice pebbly finish . Smooth , cool and water proof. Easiest to clean for non skids. Sold the boat after 15 years. Still looked great. Minimal over spray
I am going to use hopefully this summer on my new boat time to freshen up the non skid.

TKS guys! Good suggestions, I will price them all out. Doubt I would have a pro $pray it. Not familiar w Kiwi, is it 2 part ?

Kiwigrip is a one part water-based coating that you apply with a brush or trowel and then roll with a hook paint roller. Google "applying Kiwigrip" for a number of videos.

For a diy, I’d 2nd the suggestion of raptor. With a reasonable sized air compressor it’s easy to apply. It comes in kit form so you pour the catalyst into the resin bottle, shake it up to mix, and the bottle screws onto a schutz gun to apply. Cutting the length of the nozzle shorter gives more pebbly finish.
You can brush or roll it too if you want to. It’s just a high solids polyurethane.

Looks like you put it down right over the teak decking? What prep work did you do prior to application?

Here’s another product you might consider. I had this on one of my boats and it was really great. I had a dock neighbor that put it down on his teak decks after a light sanding. It held up great as it is really elastic and can spend and contract with the wood.

I only saw 2 boats that had “bedliner” on their decks. Both looked horrible in my opinion. Dont know if they applied it poorly or not but I decided I would never do that.

found a photo hope this helps
