Jay Benford design I think, actually very stable as designed.

Has great books.

Same designer as Florida Bay Coasters I believe.

Not Jay's most seaworthy design. Here is the model for the Benford design (the 100 year-old Carlisle II foot ferry) that runs from my marina to Bremerton. Salty looking but stay in protected waters.

Not seaworthy and top heavy though can be 2 totally different things.

This is a short distance in protected waters ferry, much like what you see in Victoria and Vancouver. They aren't going out in nasty conditions and often the ride is less than half a mile.
