Buying a 1987 GB Classic with 2 Cat 3208TA

Made an offer on a 1987 GB 46 Classic, Cat 3208TA with 4500 hours. Anyone know of a good mechanic in the Boothbay Maine area for my survey? Also, thoughts off the life of these engines if well maintained?
