Radiant is a 1991 2-cabin 48’ (4809) sundeck model (not cpmy). Just aft of the stairs down from the salon to the aft cabin and across from the day head is a cabinet. There is a vent that leads to an exhaust blower & hose that terminates in the engine room. For the life of me I can’t imagine why it is there. Anyone have a clue?

Not sure about the 2 Cabin model, but on my 1991 Californian 48 3 stateroom, that was the location of the stacked washer/dryer. It was right under the stairs going from the aft-deck to the saloon.

It is common to run a vent pipe from the dryer into the engine room and then to the engine room exterior vents.
