CAV Conversion kits

There are a couple of Conversion discussions on here on how to convert the horrible CAV filters that are on Lehman engines to spin on filters. They mention the DP-1000 Adapter kit. This kit seems to be difficult to find in Canada. I have found another kit that NAPA stocks. It's a 4038 Filter Conversion Adapter Kit.

Has anyone used this kit on the Lehman Secondary filters that are on the engine?
Is it pretty straight forward?
I did a YouTube search of installations and I couldn't find any.

They quit making them several years ago. You occasionally see them on ebay.

Can they still be bled the same way?

NAPA 3361

The kit gives a bunch of different filters that will fit, I chose these because they were shorter in height and fit nicely.

Yes, the bleeder screws are in the housing.

I converted. Terrific upgrade if you can find the kit. Many filter choices.

Yes.
