Chris Craft Constellation 500s

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Recently brought our boat from Eastport, Maine to port Saint Joe, Fl. At 1200 rpm we ran 9.2 knots and burned about 10 gallons per hour with our 20 kW Onan generator running. We have 6 v92. 550 hp with a little over 3,000 hrs.
I am close to you have a 500 1986 CC in connecticut love to get in touch

I own a 86 connie but can not find the fuel selector valve for the four fuel tanks also where is the fresjh water tank located
The fuel selector valves are under the top step leading down to the master stateroom, just lift it up.
The original fresh water tank us under the 2 aft fuel tanks under the bed. there is usually an access panel under the desk in the office. Many of these corroded and leaked due to the location and have been moved instead of replaced because of access. On my 460 it is a 90 gallon poly tank under the couch in the office.

A CC Connie is a "Trawler"?

Sure. Drive slow = trawler. Like ours, too.

:)

Actually the first post was a request for a separate forum section for Constellation and "other motoryachts" and that's what Janet was answering. I think she's more of a forum/software person, though, maybe not boat (trawler) person, so cut her some slack.

:)
