Finally got around to pulling the exhaust elbows off my Cummins 6bt-210 hp engines. Had my IG 36 two years and bought with little past engine history. The good news is they don't appear to be leaking internally just good coating of soot ( I run slow a lot ) turbos spin freely. Any way the one on the starboard engine was pitted more deeply under the soot and I am unsure of how much life is left in it. The port one looks okay.
If anyone has an unused or otherwise good shape one they no longer need I would be interested in buying it. The water inlet is 1.25 inches and the exhaust outlet is 5 inches.
Just thought I would give this a try. Thanks John P
PS could possibly use a 1.5 inch water inlet making the connection with a reducing rubber elbow.
