…heading to Anacortes…

I did a software update for CE a couple of weeks ago and for some reason I am unable to activate the route I have displayed. I normally do this by right clicking the route and choosing activate but that or other approaches are not working.

What am I missing here?

Yes, I posted on the Rosepoint forum.

I have not performed any recent upgrades to my CE and continue to activate routes as you described. Can you reverse the upgrade to see what happens when you go to activate a route? Do you perhaps have the "Activate Route" button added to the instruments sidebar? If so highlight the route with a mouse click and then try the Activate Route button.

Jim, we've migrated to TimeZero but in the past used CE. You might want to open a ticket, they are incredibly responsive to customer support

I seem to recall this changing sometime last spring/summer, but I also don't remember how you do it now. Maybe click on the route to select it first, then right click?

Thanks all: I discovered the fix: Right click route, activate, and then there is a dialogue box about starting a blog of this route and below that “Start Navigation”. I had to click on the “Start Navigation” notice.

Good thing you figured it out. But I'm sorry hear CE is going down the path of useless nonsense. Their interface used to be so clean and easy to use. Why should a user have to choose to start or not start a blog?

I liked an earlier feature, where “route details” came up as a table with one line for each waypoint and columns for specific information. You could see more information at a glance than the current format.
