Five oceans windlass

Tried posting this in the anchoring forum and had no results, which may actually be my answer. Has anyone used a five oceans windlass? They seem to be well built but would like to hear some real world experience with them. This will be for a 36' MT DC. Also looking at maxwell HRC 10-8 .

I bought a pump from them that looked just like other older brands....but lasted only a couple months.

Maybe no worse than the other pumps but it still crapped out.

Get as much feedback as you can before dropping windlass kind of money.

I have never even heard of them. May not mean much of course. They do appear to copy several other brands of windlai. Don't be in too big a hurry and ask on not just this forum. TF is a good forum but lots of folk don't frequent it.

I bought some old school looking exterior dome lights from them looked just like the originals that lasted 30 years. the chrome on the 5 oceans lasted 2 years
