Anyone have any first hand information about Ft Pierce City Marina? We are planning a trip up there in the ne t month or so and looking for info, opinion, recommendations?

Its great, went there for 8 years snowbirding, last 2 full time.

Great location to town.

Got a luttle pricey, depending on your length of stay.

Not fancy...used to have and sorta has one of the best Tiki bars on site.

Last I usex, free bus service all over town.

Where an annual February trawler get together happens.

Longer term is in a Cat 3 hurricane harbor with fixed docks and 2 foot tides, shorter term is outer floating docks.

2 restaurants on site.

PM me if you need anything if you come

What else?

Thank you! We are looking for a few day hangout up in that area. We stayed at the Harborage Marina in Stuart when we traversed the state after buying our boat on the west coast. Vero marina doesn't offer much. Ft Pierce would be one long day cruise up the intracoastal for us, but a nice trip. We are about a 6 hr cruise from the south of Stuart Fl going on the inside.

Last time I hung out in Ft Pierce was for a Steppenwolf concert at the amphitheater near Indian River dr. This was in the mid 80's (I was quite young) and we rode our Harleys up there. The old days
