Fresh water pump inop?

I chose to go for a REMCO Remco aquajet series water pump. It's a 55 aquajet- ARV. I am one hundred percent satisfied with its performance, but since I am not an expert, I don't know if it is a suitable replacement for the product you have before.

All,

Trying to trouble shoot a fresh water pump. It's a Jabsco PARMAX 3.

It's suppose to run until it builds up pressure in the accumulator and shut off unless someone turns on a faucet. Right now it runs non stop.

That indicates to me that:
1. There is a break in a line somewhere and it's pumping water somewhere. Have checked and find none.
2. There's something wrong with the pump.

What else and any ideas on how to troubleshoot.

Thx
Hi Larry does the pump just run or does it come up to pressure then run for a second and then shut off. if it just runs I would say it needs Burping Disconnect pump between accumulator and pump, turn on pump until it gushes out and if it comes up to pressure then runs and stops you have a leak. I have a Sea Tech control panel below the lower helm that allows me to shut off each outlet this should help identify where the leak is.

hi,

do you have an accumulator tank in the system? is the pump which keeps on running a variable speed pump? if yes to both, i think that's a no-no, at least it was a couple of years back.
