Gauges Working with conditions

This issue is present at both helms...
I have a three position key: Off, On, Start.
I have an oil pressure gauge and a water temp gauge.
When the key is in the on position the water temp gauge works, oil does not.
When the key is in the start position, oil works, water temp does not.
This is an issue that just started, no modifications have taken place.
Any idea what is going on here? I am not an electrician...but unless someone can give me some pointers, I may have to hire one.

Check you connections INCLUDING your grounds. Something may have vibrated loose.

Checked as best I could. Previous owner left a spaghetti factory in there. All connections seem fine. Didn’t see any “fallen” leads but again…spaghetti factory. I guess I’m going to have to pull the panel and really get in there. Or hire someone. Thanks for your reply.

Mr. TG. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES BEFOREHAND!!!! and label wires, if possible. Might be a ground at a remote location (upper/lower helm or elsewhere)...Enjoy.

Take the connectors off the switch and clean the connections.
