I have 2 Groco type K electric toilets.
How do I disable the motor to allow manual operation? Thanks

There is a linkage arm between the motor and the handle bracket. Remove the bolt on each end. Don't lose the parts. All are expensive to replace.

You have one of the best toilets made .

Parts are still available , so purchase a rebuild kit , for future use.

Not only are parts still available, the Model K is still in production, with a list price of USD $2100 without the motor--which, btw, is actually an add-on that only replaces the pump HANDLE. It's the only toilet still made in the US that's even close to the British Baby Blake. Hopefully you still have the pump handles for both toilets 'cuz you'll need them after you remove the motor.

If you didn't get any documentation with them, these links may be useful to you:

reminds me of the original skipper. you could flush a tennis shoe down one of those.
a head with a truck shifter for a handle, my favorite.
