Grill Mounts

Hello all! Just purchased a ‘79 Litton Europa. She’s a beauty and we are over the moon. We’re having an issue with installing a grill though. The railing is wood all around which I don’t want to damage. The only metal railing is at the bow but it’s not very horizontal. I guess what I’m looking for is some kind of mount that can be installed on an angled railing. I’ve been staring at marine grills and mounts now for two days and my eyes are crossing. Has anyone experienced this?

Get a fishing rod holder mount. If your cap rails don't have rod holders already, they can be added without "damaging" what you have.

For years I used a fishing rod holder mount under a Magma grill. It had a ball with a clamp that'd allow getting the angle adjusted just right and then clamped down. I had a Taco brand rod holder mounted onto a grab rail over the stern lazarette. Worked pretty well. They make holders designed to fit different diameter tubing.

I had a stainless post mount made that attaches to my swim step. Removable. Can also attach my stern tie reel to it or my fish cleaning board.
