After you round the tip of South America sometime in the future you can tell us what’s worse, the Aleutians or the meeting of the Atlantic and Pacific.
I’ve been to Attu, Shemya, and Adak. They all have a unique history. Just imagine 90,000 GIs on Adak in 1943.
