Im a new comer to trawler life; but i love learning.
1971 Grand Banks 49'alaskan.
Generator question - how many diodes does a westerbeke 8k BTD have? It's not putting out electricity Have tested everything except how and where can i get
to the diodes?

Thanks for replying. Discovered problem when mechanic from Tampa took on our problems; the stator windings were bad, looked no further to diodes. Now we need a "new" genset; looking to sell the engine part - after having had injectors and pump cleaned/rebuilt.
