See the link above.
Looks like the thread is a SQUARE thread. Similar but not the same as an Acme. THe tip off is the thread sides are not tapered.
I cannot work out from your scales and photos what a likely size and pitch is.
The best I could figure is the diameter is 3/4" but I think that may not be accurate. THe scale placements and the angles the threaded part sit on does not help.
Photo #2 is blurry enough to be almost useless.
Try using a 90o square vertically to line the thread up closely to the scale marks.
Also try to get the part square to the scales. You may need to block the end out of sight it so it stays square.
For the pitch photos try to block the scales up to about midline of the thread so there is no angle or parallax to the view which can throw this type of measuring off a lot.
I see you were using both inch and metric which is good. The line up improvements may help us help you.
If you are getting no where with us then have you gone back to Seagull and aske to talk to someone more senior in the part dept. TO the point of getting some ones name and email address so your photos can be sent.
Also how old is the setup or do you not know. THat may help Seagull as maybe they have changed something which is why you got an incorrect nut.
I am going to add that if nothing gets you help then try to find a small local machine shop or maybe a school that teaches shop. Even some of the auto parts stores. Some of these have a machine shop or closely associated
shop that could make a nut or TWO from nylon. Even a loose fit should work if it simply secures the filter to a work surface.
