Thanks RS. Thought I was clear. Didn’t hit on one off, semi custom or production. Only hit on large series modular construction and it vulnerabilities. Didn’t even say those couldn’t be excellent boats just buyer beware and it’s a risk I’m not willing to take except in very rare circumstances. Still of the 8 bluewater boats I’ve owned all have been stick built. Only one was a one off. Rest production or semi custom (just interiors and things like hard dodgers ) Next one will be stick built in all probability as well.

BTW Bene has a custom shop. Been on a few. Some were really nice in all respects and well constructed from what I saw.
