The state of Wisconsin just sent me my boat license renewal. Sixty dollars for two years, doesn't bother me a bit. (There is another thread running right now about registration fees)
When I get my Wisconsin registration renewal notice I know that my documentation renewal is not far behind.
WARNING: "The Vessel Documentation Portal" notice you may receive is not necessarily a scam but it is a parasite website which will "help" you renew your documentation. NOT NEEDED!
You will get the official documentation from Homeland Security or Coast Guard soon enough. Sign the renewal, send a check and it is done.
