John Deere mechanic in SE USA

Please share any contact with a mechanic that will service a JD propulsion engine. They are rare in the Charleston, SC area. I've based a boat here with a 4045 AFM. Will be heading south in late fall and could stop at a recommended service yard enroute.

Call the local John Deere tractor dealer and ask for a referral. Tractor repairs are often done by mobile mechanics.
