Hello Mainship gurus, I am hoping for some advice to access the fuel tank and water tanks. There are three panels that are secured to some vertical posts as far as I can determine. One small port, one large panel in the center and one small starboard.
I would like to remove the center panel however it looks difficult to unbolt, not to mention reinstall by myself. Is it necessary to keep the panel in order to separate it from the engine bilge areas? Is it a wood Firewall or does it just make the bilge look pretty? Port and starboard panels need to stay in place for electronic component mounts.
I am considering cutting a removable/replaceable rectangle hatchway in the center panel for future access. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike
