Mainship 430 sump?

Can anyone tell me where the sump is for the MS 430 aft cabin, forward head? I want to clean out the lines to be sure the pump won't get damaged after my GF messed it up.

I gave Seevee a call and he found the shower sump. I removed mine because I was tired of cleaning the hair out of them. Now have Whale Gulper pumps.

Found it, and it looks good. Had a clog of hair in the drain pipe from the shower, which I cleared.



On the project list to replace with a Whale Gulper.

FYI, on my MS350 the sump is wired thru the "Head" DC breaker. Had that off and was wondering why shower sump not working LOL! After testing for power at pump accidently turned Head breaker on and viola! All right with the world again

So....where did you find it?

It's directly underneath the forward head. Fairly easy access, but better if you remove the stairs to the engine room.
