Latest word from our boat contractor is subcontractors are starting to be unwilling to go to some of the larger marinas because of all the out of state vehicle traffic. As you get farther north up the Chesapeake, the closer your driving distance to NJ and the escalating infection rates.

It's in the midst of varnishing. Delays may mean not being able to move the boat for other work, especially in light of that being done in one of the larger marinas on the western shore.

My take is I don't need my boat if it means putting anyone in harms way.

I'm having them get any larger items ordered and on-hand. Better to have those items here and ready for installation, rather than tied up behind a backlog of shipping or travel restrictions.
