Hello. Looking for some advice on adjusting our stabilizers.

Our trawler is fitted with a NAIAD MultiSea II Stabilizer Control System. Overall, the system works as intended. However, they seem to be directionally out of adjustment. When centered (button pressed on the control panel), the port and starbaord fin indicators are right in the middle as expected, and the hydraulic pistons on the fins are also where they should be.

However, when I press "active," even in completely calm conditions, the port fin indicator goes up (fin out), while the starboard one goes down (fin in), and the boat pulls to port. They stabilize as they should, but are always biased with port up, starboard down.

I'm looking for a manual or procedure to adjust this. What I have been able to find online doesn't address this condition. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Casey Corcoran

Hi Jmackai, thanks for your response. I'm having a little trouble following, though. Are you talking about a sensor on top of the stabilizer fin mechanism on each side of the hull or inside the control box that is under our helm station?

Do yourself a favor a favor & call Craig Calkins @ Stabilized Marine in Ft Lauderdale FL.(954) 797-7330. He has installed and serviced these Naiads for decades and can usually diagnose the issue over the phone or sell you OEM parts at a reasonable price plus tell you how to install & adjust the potentiometers properly.
Can’t say enough good things about this guy’s service.

I'm also experiencing the same issue. Centering works fine, locking pins drops right in, but when engaged, my stbd indicator raises in display.. I am not experiencing any pull or drift though

Casey, I have the original documentation and manual for my Naiad install. I'm on Middle River and will be available this weekend if that helps
