Was pleasantly surprised to come across this video on Youtube. Nice to see a longer Seapiper video with owner impressions.

I still love the design but since the production came over to the USA we haven't really seen much of anything. Finding new pricing or option details or even build time doesn't seem to be posted anywhere.

Obviously these things are way more expensive now (what isn't?) and part of me still wants one. Maybe there will be some updates on production or improvements made with the switch to the USA on the website at some point:

Sure don't get much other than the guy standing there talking about it. No tour or anything. Also since his wasn't built by the current builders it's unclear what the new ones will look like or how they'll be finished and equipped

All valid points. Website still has copyright notice from 2021.

Feels like the whole project is dead in the water.

Seattle Yachts has bought the molds and is building them in the old Northern Marine building in Anacortes. So I think there maybe a Sandpiper future. They've had the molds for a while, it's a pretty simple boat, I'm sort of surprised that there is no sign of a boat yet. I'm curious to see what it looks like.

That explains why I saw a deck molding (though in rough shape) sitting in the parking lot out front of that building a couple of months ago. Next time I'm there I will stop in and see if they can be convinced to redesign the deck into something a little more conventional. Or maybe they can do a hull for me with all the mechanics in it, then I'll move it two doors up the hill and get a custom house and layout done at Jim's.

I'd heard that when they got the molds there were parts already laminated in them and that some of the parts were tough to get out of the molds.
