Hello all. My wife and I have decided it's time to sell our beloved sailboat. But, rather than abandon the boat lifestyle, we've decided to explore replacing her with a trawler for the additional space and the ability to take our dogs with us. I'm here to learn all I can about trawlers and how to choose one. Yes, we are "boatnuts" and love being on the water.

If you and yours are used to cruising the adjustment to trawlers is rather easy... similar to sailboats except with more room and with more creature comforts. There are many here on TF that have made the switch and will likely chime in.
