This looks like an interesting boat with good fuel efficiency, but it has no keel or protection for the prop and shaft.

I assume that here in the NW on rivers with logs, sticks, debris, etc, that this would not be ideal. Also the diesel fuel tank is only 66 gal. Thoughts please?

Here is a pic of the Nimbus 305: shaft, prop, any rudder. Any thoughts on how this work work (or not) in rivers with lots of debris?

This looks like some other boats mine included. I have more keel forward but not shaft protection like the pic. Some more experienced mariners will correct me but for me shaft protection is more about touching aground in shallow water than debris.
